You are one of approximately 300+ nurses at Rockledge Regional Medical Center. The nurses here are represented for collective bargaining by the Florida Nurses Association, OPEIU, Local 713, AFL-CIO, CLC. We have the responsibility of representing your bargaining unit for negotiations, grievances, and the myriad of employment issues that face bedside nurses on a daily basis.

 

Every day we urge nurses to come join us and be a part of our team, so that we can become a stronger unit with one voice that fights for better working conditions, wages and benefits. We want Rockledge Regional Medical Center to be the best in the Region where all nurses want to come to provide the best quality of care for our patients.

 

I'm Stephan Applegate (L) and this is Rodger Osterhuber (R), we're your two on-site FNA representatives, and we are your first point of contact when issues arise on your unit. Our job is to also recruit new members, represent the membership in labor/management meetings with FNA, and assist in negotiating increases for the bargaining unit. We are always on the lookout for more nurses to take an active role. Come and be a part of the FNA, OPEIU team!
